When was the middle finger emoji 🖕 added?+
Unicode 7.0 added it in 2014, and Apple landed it on iOS in 2015 after years of leaving it out. Its official Unicode name is “reversed hand with middle finger extended” — one of the few emoji whose name is itself a little rude.
